Ajeya Prabhakar has been eliminated in the Men's Event round of 48 of the 2022 International Billiards & Snooker Federation (IBSF) World Snooker Championships at the Sueno Hotels Beach Side in Antalya, Turkey.
The United States National Snooker Champion of 2000 and 2014 started his best-of-7 frames match against Ali Roshanikiya very confidently as he took the first frame, but Prabhakar's challenge to book a round of 32 berth then came off the rails.
The Iranian compiled a frame-winning break of 74 in frame two, and then took a 2-1 advantage after sealing the third frame.

Despite a fourth frame break of 52 by the American, Roshanikiya still took the frame after producing a run of 57 of his own.
Roshanikiya then wrapped up a convincing 4-1 success with a fifth frame 77 break.
Prabhakar commented after the match that his opponent was a "super player", however he had chances but blew them.
Prabhakar will now compete in the Masters' Event of these Championships, which take place from November 11 - 16.
