Denkha hits century to advance into knockout stage

The group stage of the 2023 United States National Snooker Championship has come to a conclusion, with the highlight being a fantastic century break compiled by Chicago's Renat Denkha.
The former Pan American Snooker Championship runner-up was in imperious form as he swept away all he encountered with three 2-0 wins in Group M, making a break of 105 in his final group tie against Norman Hung.
The defending champion Steven Wong suffered a surprise defeat to Tommy Kollins in his Group A matches, however the number one seed still topped his Group to advance into the Round of 32.
The former two-time champion Ajeya Prabhakar was also in fine form during his three Group C matches, as the number three seed finished in pole position after scored successive 2-0 victories including a break of 69 along the way to securing his Round of 32 berth.
The unseeded former three-time champion Sargon Isaac also went through top of Group K with three wins, with the 2007 Champion Jack Kung also progressing from Group I in runners-up position to North Carolina's Corey Sykes.
