Entries are now being accepted for the first event of the 2024-25 World Women's Snooker (WWS) Tour as the 2024 WineCellars.com U.S. Women's Snooker Open returns to OX Billiards in Seattle from August 9 - 11.

In addition to the main world ranking event, there will also be a Seniors competition for players aged over 40, as well as a Challenge Cup competition for players who do not reach the knockout rounds of the main event. An Under-21 tournament may be held subject to sufficient interest being received (minimum four players).

Last year saw three of the world's top four ranked players compete, with the former Women's World Champion's Mink Nutcharut capturing the title after the Thai player defeated Hong Kong's Ng On Yee 4-2 in a very high-quality final.

This event continues to be made possible by Mike Dominguez and his fantastic team at OX Billiards, alongside WineCellars.com, which is a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of custom wine cellars in North America, and a huge supporter of the sport of snooker in the United States.

As with all WWS Tour ranking events, the U.S. Women's Open will be open to players from around the globe, with those from the Americas region set to once again be joined by other international players.
