This prestigious new ranking event on the World Snooker Tour has been called the sport's "fourth major" with a prize of $650,000 on offer to the champion.
Unfortunately though Aly will take no further participation after succumbing to Huang 4-0, who is playing in his first season as a professional after qualifying for the Tour through his performances on the Chinese Billiards & Snooker Association China Tour.
Aly's main resistance in the match came in frame two as he narrowly lost it on the final pink ball, but the 29-year-old was good value for his win (Match scoresheet).
Aly is next scheduled to be back in action in English Open qualifying from September 12-14 in Brentwood, England.
