The United States Snooker Association (USSA) is pleased to announce a new host for the United States National Snooker Championship, with The Champion Snooker Club in Concord, California, gaining the honor to host the 2025 event from May 23-26.

This will be the third successive year that this prestigious Championship will be played in California, after the magnificent hosting of the event in 2023 and 2024 at the Embassy Billiards Club in San Gabriel.

The past two Championships have been the largest ever staged in its history, and now to accommodate this event as it grows in popularity, it is essential to secure a host with at least eight tables.

Opened in July 2024 by the owner Mr. Sear Ansari, The Champion Snooker Club boasts nine full-sized snooker tables, all which will be used to play the Championship on.

After consultation, the USSA has decided to once again return the Championship to be played over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, of which had been the case for past Championships from 2007 until 2018 except for 2010 and 2011.

Alan Morris, the Executive Director of the USSA, commented: "It is always a very special occasion when we get the opportunity to host this great Championship in a brand new location, especially in this particular area of California which is fast becoming a hotbed for the sport given the number of new snooker clubs that have opened recently.

"On behalf of the Board of the USSA I would like to thank Mr. Ansari in wishing to host this year's Championship of which I know will attract yet another big entry of players, and we look forward to staging a very successful 2025 event at The Champions Snooker Club."

Entry for this year's Championship will be available exclusively on the USSA's Cloud Snooker system.
